About The Position
Simply Southern is a nationally recognized apparel brand, founded in Greensboro, NC in 2005, that celebrates the preppy American lifestyle. They create vibrant, catchy t-shirts and clothing and have grown from a small kiosk to over 6,000 independent retailers and 27 of their own retail stores across 12 states, employing over 400 people. This part-time Retail Associate position involves providing enthusiastic and exceptional customer service, assisting customers with purchases, suggestively selling items, and embodying the company's Vision, Mission, and Values.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to stand and walk 4-10 hours a day
- Independent, self-motivated worker
- Strong Communication and listening skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiating and influencing skills
- Basic Math skills
- Familiarity with cash register, computers, and calculators
