About The Position
Assisting the Retail Manager by maintaining smooth and efficient daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This hands‑on role coaches staff, manages shifts, helps maintain merchandising and inventory standards, and steps in to lead when the manager is unavailable. A passion for food and an engaging, customer-first personality are essential to create memorable shopping experiences.
Requirements
- Knowledge of POS systems
- Leadership experience in retail, hospitality, or food processing.
- Extensive knowledge of food safety standards.
- Exceptional customer service and team-building skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Open/close store, team huddles, delegate tasks
- Supervise team members, onboarding, scheduling, and performance
- Provide outstanding service, product recommendations, & cooking tips
- Support in-store promotions
- Ensure all meats meet high standards, conduct routine inspections, keep detailed records
- Maintain an attractive, clean, and well-organized meat case, verify proper product rotation
