As a Retail Cashier or Service Team Member at Michaels, you will deliver friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping our store, and ensure a fast and friendly checkout experience. Your responsibilities will include completing truck unloading and merchandise duties throughout the store, maintaining store recovery standards, and helping customers locate products. You will also engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, educate them on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey, and assist with Omni channel processes such as Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS). Additionally, you will participate in stocking, planogram processes, and merchandise recovery to ensure a well-merchandised and in-stock store. You will support shrink and safety programs and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company policies.

  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company policies.
  • Interact with others in a respectful manner.
  • Cross train in Custom Framing selling and production.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
  • Ability to move throughout the store.
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves.
