About The Position

Position : Operations Support Technician (Part-Time) Location : South Central Operations Division - JCA Hours : 25 hours/week Deadline to Apply: Friday, November 28th at 5:00 pm

Requirements

• Medical First Responder certification
• Candidates must maintain the ability to communicate well, both verbally and written, and understand both written and verbal instructions.
• Attention to detail as well as organizational skills are a must.
• Candidates must be willing to work afternoon and/or midnight shifts.
• Performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; smell.
• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance visions, color visions, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
• The employee must also do the following:
• Drive using wrist motions to manipulate steering wheel and rotating neck
• Lift and carry automotive parts weighing 100 pounds
• Bend, crawl, crouch under and inside vehicles
• Extend and hyper-extend neck
• Stretch, extend and bend arms and legs
• Must be physically present at relevant company locations/sites to conduct job duties at the direction of management

Responsibilities

• Clean and resupply ambulances and facilities
• Perform laundry duties and maintain inventory per departmental protocols
• Clean/disinfect equipment, vehicles, and assigned areas
• Follow written and verbal instructions accurately
• Maintain strong verbal and written communication
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Performing other duties as required or assigned
• Ability to work in varied environments such as out-of-doors
