About The Position

The Director of Patient Intake & Resupply works with the Region Resupply and Intake Managers who oversees and facilitates the re-supply and intake of enteral nutrition and respiratory patients. The Director facilitates a high-performance environment by building upon the existing suite of metrics and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and by coaching and mentoring the team to provide exceptional service. The successful candidate must have a strong work ethic and be a self- motivated, energetic, proactive, organized individual who can make an impact with our growing team.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years’ experience in management
  • Respiratory/DME company is strongly preferred, but previous customer service experience in a healthcare services business is required Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to coach, mentor and develop customer service representatives in an environment of continuous improvement
  • Ability to manage a budget
  • College education (B.A., B.S. or higher) is preferred Detail oriented with proven problem-solving skills
  • Must have strong PC skills, especially the MS Office suite Strong work ethic and desire to serve our patients

Responsibilities

  • Lead and scale patient intake and resupply operations for enteral and respiratory patients across multiple regions
  • Drive operational excellence through performance metrics, SOPs, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Build, coach, and develop high-performing managers and customer service teams
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant intake and resupply processing across all channels
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, AR/Billing, Distribution, IT, and vendors to deliver a seamless patient experience
  • Improve reimbursement outcomes by overseeing front-end intake accuracy, payer investigations, and denial prevention efforts
  • Own quality assurance programs that enhance patient satisfaction and operational efficiency
  • Lead system optimization and integration efforts to improve productivity and service quality
  • Manage departmental budgets and approve purchasing in accordance with company policies
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex patient, referral, and operational issues

  • Able to work longer than normal hours with little or no notice, as needed
  • Attend staff meetings, teleconferences and patient care conferences as needed
  • Ability to lift a minimum weight of 25 pounds, and able to perform repetitive standing, sitting, stooping, walking, stretching, reaching, typing and use full range of body motions Understand and follow employee policies and procedures.
