About The Position
A nonprofit organization is seeking a Restricted Gift Accountant to support fund accounting, reconciliation processes, and monthly close activities. This role ensures accuracy of fund balances, cash balances, and financial reporting while working across integrated accounting and donor management systems.
Requirements
- Strong accounting or fund accounting experience
- Experience with bank reconciliations and monthly close processes
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Organized and deadline-driven

- Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge and Financial Edge preferred
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate fund balances and cash balances
- Perform bank reconciliations and support reconciliation processes
- Manage monthly close analysis and reporting
- Track prepaid expenses and insurance accounts
- Ensure proper accounting for restricted gifts and designated funds
- Work within Financial Edge and Raiser’s Edge systems
