About The Position

The Knoxville Habitat ReStore is looking to hire a part-time cashier to assist in the daily operations of the ReStore. We are looking for a candidate who is self motivated, a multitasker, has strong customer service skills, and enjoys working with a great team! PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: DAILY OPERATIONS Providing excellent customer service and interacting with customers when entering or leaving the store and during the checkout process. Supervising and training volunteer cashiers. Ensuring the cash-wrap area stays clean and organized. Assisting management in opening and closing activities. Assisting with donation processing, including accepting donations, providing receipts, sorting, and pricing. Answering phones and scheduling donation pick ups. Assisting with display/floor set. Assisting with inventory control. Assisting with housekeeping tasks throughout store. Schedule volunteers/community service workers. Other duties as assigned. PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITY Assisting management with store merchandising when needed. Assisting management in all promotional and advertising activity. ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES Attend all KHFH activities and meetings as directed. Attend all store staff meetings. Requirements
