We have tremendous opportunities for proven leaders to join in our success. Morada Senior Living is hiring Restorative Aide/CNA for Morada Temple. Restorative Aide Essential Duties: Provide personal care to residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort. Assist in the provision of restorative or rehabilitative care. Performs restorative nursing tasks such as ambulation, range of motion, positioning, self-feeding, etc., within the scope of individuals’ training. Promotes and supports the greatest possible degree of independence for residents. Advises supervising charge nurse of resident’s status at beginning and end of shifts. Contributes knowledge of resident’s conditions/needs to resident care plans. Assists in the implementation of care plans as directed within the parameters of established policy and procedure. Observes and reports on resident’s conditions, and documents observations as required. Must be able to perform moderate to heavy lifting. Complies with requirements of procedures for safe lifting and/or safe transfer of residents per established policies and procedures. Assists in the care and maintenance of therapy area and equipment. Assures that equipment is clean and functional. Assist residents at mealtime as may be necessary.
Requirements
- State certification as a nursing assistant
- Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant
- Highly developed observation skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills needed
