About The Position

RESTORATIVE AIDE/CNA

Job Responsibilities:

Provides residents with routine restorative nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment, care plan and as directed by supervisors.

Ensures resident’s needs are met while maintaining the highest degree of dignity.
Documents care on Rehabilitation/Restorative flow sheet.
Notifies restorative nurse coordinator or appropriate therapy department of any problems,
referrals or reassessments needed.
Reports significant change in resident’s condition or motivational level to the charge nurse.

Requirements:

Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing in Texas

Knowledge / Experience:

Completion of a restorative nurse aide training program preferred
6 months of experience in long-term care as a restorative aide preferred
