About The Position

The Restorative Aide supports the therapy teams by assisting participants in maintaining or improving their physical functioning, independence, and quality of life. This role focuses on implementing restorative care programs as directed by therapy professionals in the therapy gym, day center, and in the home setting. This role will be responsible for maintaining the DME supplies and ordering as needed. What is PACE? PACE or Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly is a federal and state funded program that provides comprehensive, coordinated, and proactive whole-person care to help maintain and improve seniors' health so they can live safely in their homes. There are 180 PACE programs, serving more than 80,700 participants in 33 states. The number of people aged 55+ is increasing in Grand Junction, CO and the demand for eldercare professionals is on the rise.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Current Colorado CNA license maintained throughout employment.
One year’s experience with frail or elderly population is required.
Valid Colorado driver’s license, unlimited access to reliable transportation, and adequate automobile insurance is maintained throughout employment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Current CPR Certification is maintained throughout employment.
Adequate computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Effectively work with and build relationships with others.
Effectively and respectfully communicate both verbally and in writing in a multitude of situations and settings, including highly emotional interactions.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a rehab environment preferred
Additional pay for bilingual fluency.
