About The Position
Gain real life experience in the natural resources field by working alongside our skilled Ecologists! Spend the summer working outside with a team in pristine natural resource environments while expanding your knowledge in areas such as native flora and fauna, herbicide use, and ecological restoration work such as brush clearing and weed control activities. Work schedule is typically a 40-hour week Monday-Friday.
Requirements
- Previous coursework in environmental sciences, biology, natural resources, forestry or related field preferred, but not required.
- Less than six (6) months of experience in plant identification preferred, but not required.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
- Beginning professionals within a related field are encouraged to apply.
- Applicants must have a current, valid driver's license and complete a pre-employment drug screening.
- Job responsibilities require regularly lifting up to 50lbs.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of your start date.
