About The Position

Mission Yogurt is seeking a Kitchen Porter/Warehouse Associate to join our team at The Bagel Deli & Williams & Graham!

The Porter supports daily restaurant operations by keeping kitchen and storage areas clean, organized, and well-stocked. This role plays a key behind-the-scenes part in receiving and transporting supplies, supporting the kitchen team, and maintaining sanitation and safety standards in line with Mission Yogurt’s values.

Requirements

• Delivers superior food and beverage service and maximizes customer satisfaction.
• Adheres to Mission Yogurt's safety, sanitation, and cleanliness policies and practices.
• Assesses work-related issues in a professional manner and exercises honest, non-biased judgment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age & able to pass a 10-year background check per TSA guidelines.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Must be able to work on your feet for up to 12 hours. Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching overhead, and lifting products and supplies weighing 20 pounds, and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds, as well as repetitive hand and wrist motion.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a warehouse clerk, stocker, crew member, picker, delivery driver, team member, or logistics associate preferred.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Unloading deliveries of food to the kitchen.
• Embody and promote consistency and efficiency in food preparation, food handling, sanitization, and safety standards.
• Washing and disinfecting kitchen appliances, work surfaces, floors, and walls.
• Receive instruction from the Supervisor/Manager.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down storage areas, ensuring proper organization and efficiency.
• Transport products and supplies to designated areas using a golf cart or other equipment as needed.
• Remove and dispose of waste, including recycling, compost, and trash, in compliance with sanitation guidelines.
