About The Position

The Adobe Bar & Grille Supervisor – PM Shift supports the daily operations of the restaurant, with a primary focus on closing the restaurant and ensuring it’s fully prepared for upscale service for lunch and dinner. This hands-on role works closely with front-of-house staff to deliver a consistent and high-standard dining experience for members and guests. At times, this position may assist with other shifts, as needed. JDM Golf Teammates will role model the core values and behaviors by: Cultivating a positive teamwork environment. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Minimum 2 year's relevant restaurant supervisor working experience.
  • Able to be flexible when taking on tasks, prioritizing as necessary, and in handling situations
  • Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of the members and guests
  • Able to learn quickly when faced with new problems and challenges

  • Position may utilize golf carts; thus, must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be at least 19 years of age.
  • Must have a Manager Level Food Certification
  • Must have a Title 4 AZ Liquor Certification
  • Regular attendance is required. Additional hours including weekends may be required on a regular basis to fulfill duties of position. Seeks approval before overtime is incurred.
  • At times, an individual must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple, competing tasks and demands and to seek supervisory assistance as appropriate.

Responsibilities

  • Complete all closing duties including in the dining area, service stations, verifying POS system end of day processes, and confirming all supplies are stocked and organized.
  • Ensure Pantry is cleaned and closed.
  • Ensure all scheduled Restaurant and Pantry staff have reported for their shifted and are ready for service including dress attire. Supervise team performance and seek guidance from management, senior leadership, or human resources when issues/concerns arise that require additional support.
  • Ensure On-Course staff are present for their scheduled shift, have received their assigned cash bank, and are fully prepared to begin beverage service on the golf course. Ensured closed-out at end of night.
  • Works alongside FOH staff to ensure efficient and smooth service flow, especially during peak lunch or dinner periods.
  • Maintain cleanliness in dining room and public space areas.
  • Perform routine checks on restrooms, service areas, and supply stock ensure the restaurant is ready at all times.
  • Assist in resolving service issues or guest concerns during shift. Escalate to management when necessary.
  • Communicate with kitchen, as necessary, for special requests, dietary restrictions, or time-sensitive issues.
  • Able to provide on-the-floor support, guidance and professionalism.
  • Reinforce a positive service culture with the team.
  • Cross-trains in all front of house positions.
  • May support other shifts as required by business needs.
  • Participates in meetings, taste tests, and training.
  • Conform with all safety standards and use of all appropriate safety equipment.
  • Follow good personal hygiene guidelines.
  • Performs other duties, as assigned.
