Banquet/F&B Supervisor - Must have flexible schedule to accommodate early morning, evening, weekend and holiday business needs Pays $18-$20 hour, commensurate with experience. This is not a tipped position Property Location: 3050 N Rocky Pt Dr W, Tampa FL 33607 Job Summary Position oversees banquet and event operations of the hotel. When there are no events, this position will be part of the BLUFIN restaurant supervisory team. Position is responsible for ensuring labor and quality standards are upheld and assists with establishing a positive work environment, delivering exceptional guest service and administering policies and procedures established by the company and the hotel brand.

Responsibilities
- Knowledge of food presentation and serving etiquette
- Accustomed to working with BEOs (Banquet Event Orders)
- Set up and tear down of events, banquet services
- General knowledge of audio/visual setups
- Supervise BLUFIN waterfront operations
- Maintain personal connections with guests, clients and community organizations to encourage guest loyalty
- Reviews event function needs to ensure appropriate services and products are available
- Maintains knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform any position in the department
- Assists with maintaining product and service quality standards by investigating issues and initiating corrective action
- Assists with ordering, receiving, storing and inventory of all department related products
- Assists with monitoring and upholding procedures for control of supplies, keys, monies and credit
- Ensures department reporting is completed promptly and accurately
- Assists in monitoring and upholding procedures for safety of guests and hotel team members
- Remains current on industry trends and local market activities
- Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership
