The Hillside Boutique Hotel in Castroville, TX. is looking for a motivated Restaurant Supervisor/Banquet Captain to assist in managing daily operations and ensuring excellent guest experiences. This role supports the Food & Beverage team and leads the team in delivering high-quality service. Where You Can Make an Impact: Coordinate and supervise banquet events from setup to cleanup, ensuring all details are executed per client specifications Lead and manage Banquet staff, servers and bartenders providing direction and support. Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and accurate food and beverage service. Oversee event setup, ensuring proper presentation, cleanliness, and organization of banquet spaces. Monitor service quality during events, resolving any issues promptly to maintain high standards. Maintain adherence to health, safety and sanitation standards. Assist in training and mentoring Restaurant and Banquet staff. Promote a positive team environment and uphold the hotel's reputation and excellence. Supporting Restaurant operations and maintaining high standards of service. Collaborating with management team to ensure the restaurant's success. Supervise staff during shifts and provide guidance as needed. Assist with scheduling and training new team members. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Handle guest concerns and address issues promptly. Monitor restaurant cleanliness and organization. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations. Process guest payments and oversee cash handling procedures. Support the implementation of promotions and events. Maintain inventory levels and communicate supply needs. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
