About The Position
The Omni Frisco Hotel at The Star is the official hotel of the Dallas Cowboys and a social hub for food, fun, and nightlife. This 16-story hotel features 300 guest rooms and suites, 24,000 square feet of meeting space, and is connected to The Ford Center, a 12,000-seat multi-purpose event center. The campus is anchored by the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters. Located 20 minutes north of downtown Dallas, the hotel offers amenities including Neighborhood Services, a restaurant featuring honest American food and drink, a luxury boutique, a chic coffee and wine bar, and an elevated pool bar and grill, The Edge, overlooking The Star entertainment district. The purpose of the Restaurant Supervisor position is to ensure proper guest service through continuous training of staff and coordination with management and staff.
Requirements
- Full familiarity with menus.
- Full knowledge of beverages offered.
- Familiarity with and adherence to all liquor liability laws.
- Certified T.I.P.S.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all stations are ready for proper services.
- Ensure staff knowledge of menus required for proper services.
- Supervise stations set-up and breakdown.
- Supervise side duties being done.
- Greet guests.
- Utilize the "pivot point" system.
- Take beverage orders.
- Inform guests of daily specials.
- Ring checks for alcoholic beverages.
- Provide service to guests.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by restaurant manager
