About The Position

Villa St. Joseph was founded in 1997 as a ministry of the Sisters of St. Joseph. After 20 years of service to Beaver and Allegheny counties, the location joined the Concordia family in April 2018 - becoming Concordia at Villa St. Joseph and continuing its faith-based mission of serving others. Join our caring and dedicated team as a Neighborhood Assistant at Concordia at Villa St Joseph. As a Neighborhood Assistant, you will support residents in their daily routines, help maintain a comfortable and safe environment, and assist our nursing team in delivering quality care.
The Neighborhood Assistant position is ideal for students looking for hands on experience in the medical field or individuals looking for short and flexible schedules. A perfect schedule for parents/caregivers looking for work during school hours. Or students looking for afternoon flexibility.
Available Shifts:
Monday - Friday: 8AM - 2 PM or 4 PM - 7 PM
Every other weekend rotation - weekend shift differential - $1.50

Requirements

• Compassionate, dependable, and eager individuals to help others.
• Interested in healthcare or gaining hands-on medical experience
• Great communication and teamwork skills
• No certification required & on the job training provided

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with meals, beverages, and minor care
• Maintain a clean, organized living environment
• Support staff with non-clinical care tasks and activities
• Reports resident needs to nursing staff
