Requirements

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a hotel or restaurant environment
  • Strong customer service skills with a passion for hospitality and guest interaction
  • General knowledge of restaurant service standards, etiquette, and flow of service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Micros Symphony POS preferred
  • TIPS and/or ServSafe certification required prior to working

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, and attentive service to all guests and fellow team members
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS/ordering system
  • Communicate food allergies, dietary restrictions, and special requests clearly to kitchen staff
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared, presented, and delivered according to quality and presentation standards
  • Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
  • Assist fellow team members as needed to support a seamless and high-quality guest experience
  • Follow proper cash handling and payment procedures in compliance with company policies
  • Execute room service delivery as assigned, ensuring timely and accurate service
  • Perform cleaning and side work to maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining environment
  • Handle guest concerns and service challenges in a friendly, professional, and solution-oriented manner
  • Maintain effective communication and teamwork with hotel staff and other departments
  • Protect confidential guest and proprietary information in accordance with company policies
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
