About The Position
Located at Town Square Mall in Las Vegas, Velocity Esports is a cutting-edge esports and entertainment platform with a focus on bringing you next level entertainment experiences. We offer a premier esports lounge, arcade games, bowling, billiards & a full service restaurant & bar, along with live tournaments and other in person entertainment features. Whether competing in a tournament or enjoying elevated casual dining, craft beverages and arcade games in person at one of our venues, our commitment is to deliver "Next Level Gaming, Next Level Fun" to our guests. We are currently seeking experienced restaurant servers to help keep our guests wowed. As a restaurant server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to guests by greeting them promptly, presenting menus, making recommendations, and accurately taking and delivering food and beverage orders. You will ensure guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience by checking in regularly and addressing any concerns or special requests with a positive and solution-focused attitude. Additionally, you will handle payment transactions efficiently, maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and service areas, and collaborate closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and timely service. Following all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines is essential to this role.
Requirements
- Have availability to work days, nights, and/or weekends as the business demands
- Work in noisy environment with distracting conditions
- Stand for long periods of time
- Walk throughout the venue throughout duration of scheduled shift
- Read and write handwritten notes
- Lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to provide authorization to work in the US - we use E-verify
