About The Position

Located at Town Square Mall, Velocity Esports is a cutting-edge esports and entertainment platform with a focus on bringing you next level entertainment experiences. We offer a premier esports lounge, arcade games, bowling, billiards & a full service restaurant & bar, along with live tournaments and other in person entertainment features. Whether competing in a tournament or enjoying elevated casual dining, craft beverages and arcade games in person at one of our venues, our commitment is to deliver "Next Level Gaming, Next Level Fun" to our guests. Supervisors report directly to the General Manager and Operations Manager. This role is responsible for assisting with the operations and profitability of the business for the specific functional area(s) they are assigned.

Requirements

  • Supervisory experience within an entertainment concept, theme park or high-volume restaurant, and/or retail experience a must
  • Local or State regulation requirements regarding food handling and/or liquor service
  • Must be able to provide excellent Guest Service
  • Must have excellent time management & follow-up skills necessary to perform in a fast paced, high-volume environment
  • Must have the ability to hold the team accountable, but also motivate and coach the team to strive to the be the best.
  • Servant Leadership works best
  • Must be able to provide authorization to work in the US - we use E-verify.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily shift and guest experience
  • Ensure the guest experience and quality of products and displays are at standard
  • Oversee and lead all hourly team members
  • Set daily, weekly, monthly goals with direct reports
  • Oversee development of hourly employees
  • Assist Weekly/monthly inventory
  • Maintain a safe, clean and inviting store
  • Ensure all operating and quality standards are met
  • On premise liaison with contracted vendors
  • Coordinate and execute parties and events
  • Oversee aspects of receiving, inventory and cost control systems
  • Generation of daily, weekly and monthly reporting
  • Compliance with all cash handling policies and procedures
  • Responsible, reliable, and the ability to multitask
