This position provides support to guests and associates serving guests throughout the food and beverage organization. Includes assisting servers, running food and delivering Restaurant in Room orders and guest amenities. AM and PM part time shifts available. Must be able to work Holidays and Weekends. Salary for this position: $20.00/hour plus gratuities where applicable. Requirements

Previous experience in a high volume guest facing position.
Must be able to lift, Carry, and Place up to 50 pounds.
Must have the ability to stand/walk throughout the duration of the shift for up to 8 hours.
Excellent communication and guest service skills.
Must be 18 years or older.
Must have a strong attention to detail.
TIPs alcohol and Food Handlers certification required prior to first shift.
Willing to be an athlete; willing to work different positions within Server Assistant during a shift.
Available to work a flexible shift, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in restaurant service preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Omni standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the Resort.
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper attire/uniform and name tag when working.
Provide outstanding service to members and guests in a friendly and professional manner, following proper steps of service.
Deliver Restaurant In-Room orders to guest rooms in addition to side work associated with Restaurant In-Room duties.
Deliver Select Guest morning deliveries or afternoon amenity deliveries in addition to side work associated with amenity deliveries.
Communicate with culinary and food & beverage outlet teams regarding meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requests communicated to you by guests and guest requests.
Alert manager immediately if a member or guest has a suggestion, complaint or issue.
Present accurate check to guest and process payment for Restaurant In-Room duties.
Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant.
Assist in seating members and guests and answering phones for restaurants.
Bussing, running food and clearing tables to assist servers and guests.
Station set-up
Stock needed supplies in side stands.
Clean-up of coffee machines and prepared coffee.
Set-up tea station.
Get ice supply.
Dust all tables to include table legs.
Receive rolls and put in warmers.
Put milk in refrigerators and set-up creamers.
Pre-set breadbaskets lined with napkins.
Pick-up linen.
Check off and pick-up storeroom supplies.
Set tables with clean, pressed linen, china, silver and glassware.
Ensure furniture and floors are clean and arranged according to specifications.
Assist servers during meal period.
Remove any extra settings.
Pour water for guests.
Cross-train among other food and beverage outlets as needed.
Maintain knowledge of the resort property.
Attend department meetings and other required company trainings.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.
