About The Position

We are seeking a Restaurant Manager for Recess Hotel and Club, a hands-on leader who will oversee daily restaurant operations, service execution, and the overall guest experience. This role plays a key part in shaping the restaurant’s culture—supporting the team, driving consistency, and ensuring each guest interaction reflects our approach to hospitality. The Restaurant Manager partners closely with culinary, beverage, and leadership teams to deliver a thoughtful, well-executed dining experience while maintaining operational efficiency. This position is based in Savannah, Georgia.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a restaurant management or supervisory role, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle-driven environment
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including service, staffing, and guest experience
  • Genuine passion for hospitality and creating meaningful guest interactions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and consistent service across all shifts
  • Lead, coach, and support front-of-house team members to deliver attentive, personalized service
  • Partner with culinary and beverage teams to ensure seamless execution of food and beverage programs
  • Maintain alignment with brand standards while contributing to a distinctive and engaging dining experience
  • Engage with guests to anticipate needs, resolve concerns, and enhance overall satisfaction
  • Support scheduling, labor management, and staffing to meet operational demands
  • Monitor service standards, cleanliness, and presentation to ensure a polished environment
  • Assist in training and onboarding new team members on service expectations and brand standards
  • Collaborate with other departments to support events, programming, and overall guest experience
  • Contribute to financial performance by supporting cost control, inventory management, and revenue goals
