About The Position

The Restaurant Manager will oversee and manage the daily operations of the restaurant. We are looking for a results-driven restaurant manager to meet sales goals by hiring and training competent staff, overseeing kitchen operations, and motivating staff during busy hours. To be successful as a restaurant manager you must have excellent interpersonal skills as well as experience in a restaurant environment. Requirements

  • Familiarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidelines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Current, legal, and unrestricted ability to work in the United States
  • High school or equivalent education required
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • 3+ years of hospitality-related experience
  • 2+ years of restaurant manager or leadership experience
  • Current food handler's and TAM cards and other certifications as required by federal/state/local law
  • Familiar with point-of-sale computers and software
  • Comfortable using a computer, navigating Windows, Microsoft Office, and Outlook Email

Responsibilities

  • Professionally address customer complaints
  • Oversees food preparation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards
  • Ensures customer satisfaction with all aspects of the restaurant and dining experience
  • Handles customer complaints, resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner
  • Ensures compliance with alcoholic beverage regulations
  • Estimates food and beverage costs
  • Manages inventory and purchases food and supplies
  • Conducts daily inspection of restaurant and equipment to ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards
  • Periodically evaluates restaurant equipment for repairs and maintenance, schedules for service
  • Hires and trains restaurant staff
  • Organizes and oversees the staff schedules
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
  • Oversees hiring, discipline, and termination of employees in accordance with restaurant policy
  • Performs other duties as assigned
