About The Position

Arlo Hotels, an independent lifestyle hotel, is actively seeking a dynamic Food and Beverage Manager, referred to as Restaurant Manager (RM). The RM will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring that every guest enjoys a remarkable dining experience. This role is responsible for managing staff, maintaining high standards of food quality and service, and driving profitability. It requires strong leadership skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities.
  • Ensure the restaurant meets and exceeds quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to meet budgetary goals.
  • Responsible for payroll.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff, including servers, bartenders, runners, hosts and all FOH positions.
  • Create and maintain a positive work environment that encourages team cohesion and professional growth.
  • Implement performance evaluations and address any staff issues promptly and effectively.
  • Monitor adherence to SOP’s and training guidelines.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service, addressing guest concerns and feedback with professionalism.
  • Implement strategies to enhance the guest experience and encourage repeat business.
  • Work with the Director of F&B to manage the restaurant’s budget, including forecasting and controlling expenses.
  • Work with the Director of F&B to monitor financial performance, including sales, labor costs, and profitability.
  • Analyze sales reports and implement strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional activities and events.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and community organizations to promote the restaurant.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure the restaurant operates within legal and company guidelines.
