About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Garde Manger / Brunch Line Cook to support weekend breakfast and brunch service (or as needed based on restaurant needs). This role is responsible for the preparation, execution, and presentation of cold and light hot menu items while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, cleanliness, and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a garde manger or brunch/breakfast line cook preferred
  • Solid knife skills and basic culinary techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
  • Strong attention to detail and presentation
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning shifts
  • Team‑oriented mindset with a positive attitude
  • Food handler certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Ability to work in a kitchen environment with heat, noise, and fast p

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute garde manger and brunch menu items including salads, cold appetizers, composed plates, breakfast accompaniments, and light hot items
  • Set up and break down the brunch station efficiently for service
  • Follow standardized recipes, portioning, and plating guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the workstation at all times
  • Ensure proper food handling, labeling, storage, and rotation in accordance with health and safety standards
  • Communicate effectively with the culinary team during service to ensure smooth execution
  • Assist with prep for other stations as needed to support overall kitchen operations
  • Adhere to company policies, food safety regulations, and kitchen procedures
