Must be able to have the flexibility to work evenings on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday from 3:00 pm - 10:00 pm. The starting pay rate is $15.00 per hour. Elevage Soho Kitchen and Bar is seeking a warm, engaging, and customer-focused Restaurant Host to join our team. As our guests' first point of contact, the Restaurant Host plays a crucial role in setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. You will be responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating arrangements. Requirements

Prior experience as a host or in a customer-facing role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace and professionalism.
Friendly, outgoing, and able to make guests feel welcome and valued.
Familiarity with reservation management systems and basic computer skills.
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Guest Reception: Warmly greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing them with a positive first impression of Elevage Soho Kitchen and Bar.
Reservation Management: Handle reservations via phone, online booking systems, and in-person requests. Maintain an organized reservation system and accommodate special requests when possible.
Seating Coordination: Manage the seating of guests in a timely and efficient manner, balancing table rotation to optimize guest satisfaction and operational flow.
Communication: Collaborate with the restaurant team, including servers and managers, to ensure smooth operations and a seamless guest experience.
Problem Resolution: Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns or special requests, escalating issues to management as necessary.
Ambassador Role: Uphold the standards and culture of Elevage Soho Kitchen and Bar by providing excellent customer service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Menu Knowledge: Have a thorough understanding of the restaurant's menu, daily specials, and promotions to answer guest inquiries and enhance their dining experience.
