Requirements
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using reservation systems and basic computer functions
- Positive attitude and team-first mindset
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide a friendly, welcoming first impression
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and table assignments efficiently
- Maintain an organized seating chart to support smooth service flow
- Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and management
- Escort guests to tables and provide menus
- Answer phones, take reservations, and assist with guest inquiries
- Monitor dining room activity to anticipate guest and team needs
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entry area
- Support the service team as needed to ensure an excellent guest experience
- Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return
- Stay guest and culture focused, nurturing an excellent guest experience
