About The Position

Tioga Downs is hiring for Host/Hostess/Cashiers for our popular County Fair Buffet. You will provide our guests with a delightful dining experience from the initial reception until the final good-bye in accordance with the Company’s high standards of Guest Service.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• The Associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 5 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

• Previous cashier and customer service experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service while actively supporting the company culture of creating a fun and entertaining experience for internal and external guests.
• Offer all guests a warm and friendly welcome
• Accurately and efficiently operate the register to accept payment from food and beverage Guests in a prompt and courteous manner
• Bring guests to their seats, answer their questions, provide directions, introduce them to servers for additional help if needed
• Thank them on their way out and invite them to return
• Assist as needed to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas
