Restaurant Host (Greeter)
About The Position
The Host/Greeter serves as the first point of contact for guests dining at Wild Dunes Resort's restaurants. This role is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment, managing reservations and seating, and supporting smooth front-of-house operations. The Host/Greeter ensures a positive guest experience from arrival to departure while representing the resort with professionalism and genuine hospitality. Requirements
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-first attitude.
- Professional appearance and ability to represent the Wild Dunes Resort service culture.
- Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer and POS system knowledge preferred.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests promptly and courteously as they arrive.
- Manage reservations, wait lists, and guest flow using seating charts or reservation systems.
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
- Communicate wait times accurately and manage guest expectations.
- Assist with answering phones, taking reservations, and providing information about restaurant hours and offerings.
- Coordinate with servers and managers to ensure smooth service and efficient table turns.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host stand, lobby, and entryway.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and requests with professionalism and a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Support the Food & Beverage team as needed to enhance the overall dining experience.
