About The Position

Lirica, the signature restaurant located at Navy Pier inside Sable at Navy Pier Chicago, Curio Collection by Hilton, is seeking an exceptional Restaurant General Manager to lead all aspects of operations at one of Chicago’s most exciting dining experiences. Featuring bold Latin-inspired cuisine, handcrafted cocktails, vibrant energy, and stunning lakefront views, Lirica is a destination for locals, travelers, and unforgettable experiences. We are looking for a dynamic leader who thrives in high-volume environments, builds high-performing teams, drives results, and delivers elevated hospitality every day. The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, financial success, guest experience, and daily operations of Lirica. This role oversees front-of-house leadership, partners closely with culinary teams, and ensures the restaurant consistently delivers exceptional service, strong profitability, and a best-in-class culture. This is an outstanding opportunity for a proven hospitality leader ready to make an impact at one of Chicago’s most visible waterfront restaurants.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of general restaurant management experience in upscale, lifestyle, high-volume food & beverage environments
  • Proven success leading teams and delivering strong financial results
  • Passion for hospitality, guest engagement, and team development
  • Strong business acumen with experience managing P&L performance
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Lead all day-to-day restaurant operations with a focus on service excellence and profitability
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing leadership and hourly team
  • Drive guest satisfaction and create memorable dining experiences
  • Manage revenue, labor costs, expenses, forecasting, and financial performance
  • Partner with Executive Chef and culinary leadership to ensure flawless food execution
  • Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, ambiance, safety, and presentation
  • Oversee scheduling, staffing strategies, and labor productivity based on demand
  • Build a culture of accountability, engagement, and hospitality excellence
  • Handle guest feedback professionally and turn challenges into loyalty opportunities
  • Support private events, group dining, seasonal activations, and special programming
  • Ensure compliance with liquor laws, health regulations, and company standards
  • Identify opportunities to increase sales, improve efficiencies, and grow market presence
