About The Position

The Food & Beverage Driver/Receiver plays a vital behind-the-scenes role in keeping Moonlight Basin's dining operations running smoothly. This position is responsible for managing incoming deliveries, organizing and stocking inventory, and distributing food and supplies across our multiple outlets. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Prior experience in a receiving, warehouse, or food & beverage role preferred
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and proper storage procedures
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
  • Proficient in English reading, writing, and comprehension; additional language skills are a plus
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with team members, leadership, and vendors
  • Comfortably adapting to variable volume demands across winter and summer seasons, with strong planning and execution skills

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming food and beverage deliveries against purchase orders for accuracy and quality
  • Properly store all products in designated areas of the kitchen and storage facilities, following food safety and sanitation standards
  • Maintain organized and well-stocked inventory areas, rotating stock using FIFO (first in, first out) principles
  • Transport and distribute food, beverages, and supplies to Moonlight Basin's various dining outlets in a timely manner
  • Communicate discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods to the purchasing manager or chef
  • Assist with regular inventory counts and reporting
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of receiving areas, walk-in coolers, freezers, and dry storage
  • Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with all applicable regulations
  • Collaborate with kitchen and outlet teams to anticipate and fulfill daily supply needs
  • Assist with loading prepared food for off-site and on-property large events.
  • Ensure all items are packed and transported under proper temperature and safety conditions.
  • Coordinate with the events team for efficient setup and delivery timing.
  • Provide basic on-site support during deliveries if required.
  • Vehicle operation and maintenance. Keep gas tank filled and arrange any minor repairs or upkeep of company van.
