This Controller role puts you at the financial center of a growing portfolio of Quick Service Restaurant brands, working directly alongside ownership and executive leadership. You'll bring structure, scalability, and clarity to accounting operations spanning multiple legal entities — and your work will directly shape how the organization grows. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred)
  • Proven experience managing accounting for multi-unit restaurant, QSR, or fast food operations
  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
  • Experience with consolidations and intercompany accounting
  • Proficiency in restaurant accounting systems and advanced Excel
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on

  • Experience with R365 / Restaurant365
  • Background in privately held or family-owned restaurant businesses
  • Multi-location operations experience
  • Exposure to growth environments, acquisitions, or entity expansion

Responsibilities

  • Lead all day-to-day accounting operations across multiple legal entities
  • Own the full monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycle
  • Prepare and consolidate financial statements — balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow
  • Oversee intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and multi-entity consolidations
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with GAAP and applicable state and federal regulations
  • Establish and strengthen internal controls, policies, and procedures
  • Partner with external CPAs on tax filings, audits, and year-end reporting
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and overall financial performance
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Support leadership with financial modeling, strategic planning, and ad hoc analysis
  • Oversee AP, AR, payroll coordination, and general ledger functions
  • Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff while improving team workflows and efficiency
