About the job Based at the Mandarin Oriental Paris within the Spa Department in Paris, the Spa Operation Manager is responsible for managing the Spa service and achieving financial objectives, customer service, FLHSS and employee satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Education in hospitality, spa management, or wellness (hotel school, beauty therapy diploma, luxury management, etc.)
  • Successful experience in the operational management of a Spa within a hotel or high-end wellness center
  • Strong sense of service and commitment to guest excellence
  • Natural leadership, team spirit, and ability to motivate and unite others
  • Rigor, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and administrative management skills
  • Good command of Microsoft Office Suite and Spa management software
  • Professional proficiency in English required; an additional language is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Daily supervision of Spa operations (reception, treatments, maintenance, hygiene, scheduling, etc.)
  • Management, training, and support of the teams (therapists, receptionists, attendants)
  • Monitoring service quality and ensuring compliance with the establishment's and brand's standards
  • Managing staff schedules and client appointments
  • Tracking and analysing performance indicators (occupancy rate, revenue, client satisfaction, productivity)
  • Managing stock and product orders for the Spa (oils, consumables, linens, etc.)
  • Monitoring suppliers and controlling operating costs
  • Participating in the implementation of new offers, promotions, and commercial partnerships
  • Handling client complaints and implementing corrective actions
  • Coordinating with other departments (accommodation, food & beverage, maintenance, housekeeping) to ensure a smooth and consistent guest experience
  • Preparing and analysing monthly activity reports
  • Participating in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with procedures and hygiene standards
