Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Nice To Haves

Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.
Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) preferred.
Previous leadership / supervisory experience preferred.
2 years ICU experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise the daily activities of assigned staff.
Create work schedules, coordinate and supervise daily staffing assignments and staffing levels.
Train, coach, and evaluate assigned staff on performance expectations. Provide input for hiring and termination procedures.
Coordinate patient care with other members of the team to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and desired patient outcomes.
Ensure that adequate supply levels are maintained and make changes to supply as needed.
