About The Position

The Respiratory Supervisor is responsible for coordinating daily clinical operations, supporting staff performance, and ensuring safe and effective respiratory care delivery throughout the facility. This role provides leadership, oversight, and clinical guidance while maintaining a strong presence on patient care units Our work begins where we are all equal - at the heart. Bethany Children’s Health Center (formerly The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital) located in Bethany, Oklahoma is an innovative leader in the field of pediatric rehabilitation and 24-hour complex care. The ACHC accredited hospital offers inpatient and outpatient services for children (ages 0-21) and is the only inpatient pediatric rehabilitation facility in Oklahoma. Requirements

Associate's degree required.
Minimum of 5 years as a Respiratory Therapist; preferably in pediatrics.
Current Respiratory Care Practitioner licensed by the Oklahoma Medical Board.
Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Pediatric Life Support (PALS) certification (or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire.
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care (Must be willing to and obtain Registered Respiratory Therapy (RRT) credentials within 1 year of hire).
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Pediatric Life Support (PALS) certification (or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee and lead Charge RT communication, rounding, and daily coordination.
Oversees audit schedules and ensures compliance with documentation and regulatory standards.
Creates daily staff assignments and ensures safe coverage.
Completes incident reports and participates in quality improvement efforts.
Supports staff during high-acuity situations and clinical escalations.
Troubleshoots equipment issues and coordinates maintenance.
Supports staff performance, workflow consistency, and safe patient care.
Provides direct patient care and may be required to work the floor when staffing, acuity, or operational needs dictate.
