You'll also join a close‑knit branch team that works together every day to make sure patients receive the highest quality care. As a Respiratory Therapist, you’ll provide essential respiratory care, equipment setup, patient education, and ongoing clinical support. You’ll play a key role in ensuring safe transitions from hospital to home. You will report directly to the Branch Manager, and work closely with a collaborative team including Coordinators, RTs, Techs, and clinical leaders. Salary range $26.75–$39.28 per hour. The actual compensation offered may vary based on job related factors such as experience, skills, education and location. This position is eligible for a $5,000 Recruitment & Retention Bonus

Requirements

Registered Respiratory Therapist with an active RT license
Ability to stand, lift, push and/or pull objects ranging from 10 – 50 lbs.
Valid driver's license
Comfortable using mobile technology, navigation tools, and digital documentation
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
Registration or certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
Hold a current RCP license in the state of practice (or states that the location covers) if that state requires an RCP license to allow the practice of respiratory therapy.
Hold a current CPR Certification.
Hold all applicable licensure in good standing for all states of practice.

Responsibilities

Conduct home visits to perform oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups and follow‑ups
Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenance
Assess patient needs, document care delivered, and escalate concerns appropriately
Respond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needs
Collaborating with physicians, case managers, and internal branch teams
Maintain accurate documentation using iPad/laptop
Set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment, including, but not limited to, oxygen therapy, nebulization therapy, apnea monitoring, suctioning, PAP, invasive and non-invasive ventilation.
Inspects and tests equipment to ensure proper operating condition.
Perform clinical assessments and tests such as pulse oximetry, ETCO2, spirometry and gathering vital signs.
Performs other duties as required.
