Patient Complexity: Average 5-6 ventilators per therapist, ensuring you're challenged and never bored. Mandatory NICU Training: All therapists will receive required training for our Level 3 NICU - Multi-Specialty Exposure. Growth-Oriented: Be a mentor, trainer, and leader within the department. You'll precept new staff and help shape future respiratory professionals. Multi-Specialty Exposure: From ICU and PACU to PFTs, ENGs, and complete diagnostic testing-you'll use the full range of your skills here. Job Summary Provides respiratory therapy to patients as ordered by physicians. Handles complex cases and performs all modalities of respiratory care, including: Diagnostic testing (treadmills, complete PFTs) ABG machine maintenance Hemodynamics & special procedures Procedures in ICU, PACU, and more Treatment across all age groups-newborn to geriatric What You Bring to the Table Knowledge of ventilators & patient hemodynamics A passion for clinical excellence and mentoring Comfort working in high-acuity environments Strong aseptic and infection control practices Excellent customer service and basic computer skills
Requirements
- Education: Completion of an accredited 2-year respiratory therapy program (CRT/RRT eligible)
- Licensure: Licensed RRT in the State of Arizona
- Certifications: BLS (required); ACLS, PALS, NRP within 12 months
- Experience: Minimum: 2 years of respiratory experience
- Knowledge of ventilators & patient hemodynamics
- A passion for clinical excellence and mentoring
- Comfort working in high-acuity environments
- Strong aseptic and infection control practices
- Excellent customer service and basic computer skills
Nice To Haves
- Acute care/ICU, hemodynamics, PFT, cardiology, and precepting
