Responsibilities

• Performs reprocessing of equipment and maintains supplies for respiratory services.
• Perform duties which require expertise in high level disinfection, assembly, calibration, troubleshooting and transporting of respiratory related equipment.
• Fulfills all requirements for documentation to ensure the department is able to distribute high quality products in an efficient manner to effectively meet the requirements.
• Maintains an advanced thorough knowledge of high-level disinfection, equipment set-up and infection control standards.
• Performs support duties for the department such as maintaining inventory of equipment, stocks, verifies proper functioning and placement of equipment, troubleshoots and performs quality assurance testing on equipment.
• Supports clinical activity through cooperation and communication with Providers and staff.
• Works effectively as a team member within department to provide quality service to hospital units through communication, cooperation, and collaboration in order to respond to problems that arise.
