Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 years of respiratory care experience in acute care setting.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Demonstrates a strong ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania within 30 Days
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support - State of Pennsylvania within 180 Days
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support - State of Pennsylvania within 180 Days
  • RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist NBRC - State of Pennsylvania within 1 Year
  • CPFT-Cert Pulmonary Function Technologist NRBC - State of Pennsylvania within 1 Year or RPFT-Reg Pulmonary Function Technologist NRBC - State of Pennsylvania within 1 Year

  • Master’s Degree

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoots and refers problems when they are beyond his/her scope of authority or ability.
  • Participates in coaching, counseling, and mentoring of unit personnel.
  • Oversees administrative and operational issues for the designated care delivery team.
  • Provides clinical, consultative, technical, or informational services to staff, patients, and/or families.
