About The Position

Department: 36402 Atrium Health University City - Respiratory Therapy Services Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 36 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Night shift 36 hours a week. Some weekends required. This position is sign on bonus eligible. Pay Range $38.20 - $57.30 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Adheres to the general hospital standards to promote a collegial work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building. Provides leadership to staff to ensure short and long-term goals are met by developing standards of performance and capitalizing on employee strengths. Provide leadership and supervision through coaching, counseling, developing standards of service, ensuring training and education, maintenance of competencies and conducting employee performance reviews. Ensures care is delivered with respect for patient's rights and preferences. Maintainsprivacy, confidentiality, and security for patients and staff. Ensures age/developmentally appropriate patient care is provided in accordance with Age-Specific Care Guidelines for the specific age groups served. Maintain a high level of clinical expertise in the areas of which they supervise. Promotes a culture of safety for patients, self, co-workers, and facility in conjunction with the Director and Managers. Assists with department operations by monitoring the quality, safety and outcomes, and implementing performance improvement measures for identified metrics. Assists with policy and protocol development or changes. Assists with the development and implementation of orientation and other educational offerings, for age-appropriate section.
