About The Position

Respiratory Care Practitioner at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA. This position is FT and will work 12-hour, Night shifts. Under general supervision of Respiratory Care Leadership and according to physician order, provides respiratory care treatment and diagnostic services within the guidelines of the Respiratory Care Services department Policy and Procedure Manual. Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) duties as applied in general clinical care areas, critical/intensive care (i.e. CICU, SICU, and IICU), Emergency Department, Trauma, Perioperative, Labor and Delivery, and other care areas as required. Requirements

• Coursework/Training and Certification from a Respiratory Therapy Program
• Coursework/Training and Completion of 2-year certificate from an AMA approved Respiratory Therapy Program
• California Respiratory Care Practitioner License
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of Critical care experience in adult intensive care
• Pediatric experience
• EKG experience
