About The Position

Respiratory Care Practitioner in Respiratory Therapy Unit at Petaluma Valley Hospital. This position is Per Diem and will work 12-hour Variable Shifts. Providence Petaluma Valley Hospital Providence Petaluma Valley Hospital provides outstanding patient care which has garnered our placement on the Maternity Honor Roll for the California Health and Human Services Agency. An RCP II is defined as an RCP that has acquired the Registered Respiratory Therapist credential (RRT) from the National Board of Respiratory Care. The RCP II will provide routine, emergent and critical (neonatal to adult ) respiratory care to the area of assignment under the direction of the Respiratory Care Management. Requirements

  • Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited College, in the field of Respiratory Therapy.
  • Coursework/Training: Training specific to area of assignment.
  • California Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
  • National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
  • Experience in an acute (routine and critical) respiratory care setting.
