About The Position

The Associate Respiratory Therapist is expected to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of contemporary Respiratory Therapy principles. The Associate Respiratory Therapist should be a solid performer who is fully competent in all aspects of his/her job description. He/she is expected to perform most job duties independently and in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies and procedures. He/She will collaborate with Physicians and Nurses in planning and implementing the patient plan of care. Completion of the department orientation program as well as unit-specific orientation, as required, is mandatory. Requirements

• Associate's Degree - AMA accredited school of Respiratory Therapy. Or Bachelor's Degree - AMA accredited school of Respiratory Therapy.
• Montana Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• CRT with less than 5 years experience, must obtain RRT within 6 months of hire; Or 5 years CRT and no RRT requirement
