Welcome to a medical center where you're the center of attention. This position is responsible for providing respiratory assessment, support, treatment, or diagnostic tests for NICU, Mother Baby, and Labor and Delivery as needed. The role also includes responsibility for learning and performing any appropriate segments of department function that may be delegated by the supervisor. Overlake Medical Center is a 349-bed, nonprofit regional medical center offering a full range of advanced medical services to the Puget Sound region. Led by a volunteer board of trustees, the center employs nearly 3,000 people and has some 1,000 active and courtesy providers on its medical staff, including more than 200 employed providers. Overlake was the first Level III Trauma Center on the Eastside and is known for providing award-winning, compassionate and patient-centered care. The commitment to maintaining the highest standards in medical care is a major reason patients and their families choose Overlake, and it has received many regional and national awards and recognitions. Overlake was started by community volunteers and still depends upon volunteers to support its operations. The center also produces a community health needs assessment (CHNA) and Implementation Strategy to outline how the hospital will give back to the community in the form of health care and other community health services to address unmet community needs.
