Job Summary:
Intern I: Students enrolled in the first year of an RT program are encouraged to apply for positions that begin March/April 2026. To be considered, applications must be received no later than February 2026. Flexible scheduling available to support your academic success. Performs basic duties to support the Respiratory Care Staff in accordance with the hospital's objectives, policies and procedures. The individual will have a mentor identified for resource and support. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program is required.
• Student will remain in good standing.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a patient care setting (hospital, nursing home) is preferred.
• Inventory/stocking experience is preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Organization/Time management.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic duties to support the Respiratory Care Staff in accordance with the hospital's objectives, policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
