Find your purpose as a Resource Support Specialist | Scheduling/Timekeeping. The Resource Support Specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining schedules. Consults with the Unit Director in regard to positions needed to provide core coverage based on budgeted census and actual census data. Responsible for reviewing and auditing timecards for accuracy for employees in each assigned department. Schedule: Full-time 64 hours every 2 weeks Typical hours are Mon-Fri Days On-site at St. Cloud Hospital Pay and Benefits: Starting pay begins at $19.15 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience Pay range: $19.15 - $28.71 per hour Earn extra pay for working evening and weekend shifts! Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent required Completion of a post-secondary secretarial program preferred. Scheduling experience highly preferred Previous hospital experience in patient care setting is highly preferred Proficient with Word, Excel, timekeeping, and scheduling applications Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Expertise in communication skills required. Completion of a post-secondary secretarial program preferred. Scheduling experience strongly preferred. Previous hospital experience highly preferred; Prefer patient care background/experience. Excellent problem-solving skills required. Strong written and verbal skills; Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Proficient with Word, Excel, timekeeping and scheduling applications. Strong interpersonal human relations skills. Ability to manage time and complete tasks on time. Core Functions: Adjusts and allocates personnel to provide adequate coverage, including ill call replacement, float assignments, adding/deleting staff, and adjusting skill mix based on unit needs. Inform appropriate management personnel of problems/issues related to staffing. Accurately maintains records and work schedules, produces various reports, and compiles statistical information, required manually and in the computer system. Completes last-minute scheduling changes and addresses any staffing-related concerns. Collaborates with nursing supervisor or transfer facilitator to ensure the facility is appropriately staffed each shift. Forecasts staffing needs using applicable technology.
