Discover the rewarding career you deserve—apply today! Registered Nurse opportunity in beautiful Hamilton, Montana!! Bitterroot Health is seeking candidates to fill a Resource RN position. The Resource RN evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care; Assists physicians during examinations and procedures; Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse; Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. The RN in this position must complete competencies to work independently in Medical-Surgical and at least one other of the following areas: Intensive Care Unit/ Emergency Department.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing BSN or ADN
- Current Montana or compact license per Montana Board of Nursing Regulations
- License in good standing without disciplinary action or investigation
- Basic Life Support ACLS and PALS required
- NRP, STABLE, and TNCC, ATCN or ENPC within 2 years of hire
- Effective communication skills
- Computer Skills/EMR experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care
