About The Position

The Permanency Services Resource Parent Peer Partner (RPPP) will have lived experience as a foster parent and provide direct support to the agency's resource parents. The RPPP also works collaboratively with the Resource Parent Support Team to ensure that agency resource families complete the necessary training, credentialing and documentation required for annual recertification in a variety of ways including;

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in social work or human service-related field with internship or 1 year of experience working with families in a human service setting.
  • Alternatively, a high school diploma can be substituted for a bachelor’s degree if the candidate has 2 or more years’ experience working with families in a human service setting that includes lived experience as a foster caregiver
