About The Position

Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pool and ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and enjoyment of all pool guests. This includes supervising pool team members, maintaining pool facilities, ensuring water quality, handling emergencies as needed, and managing inventory related to poolside services. Additionally, the Resort Services Supervisor will oversee poolside food and beverage operations, ensuring efficient service and quality control of all food and beverage. This position will also support all other resort operations as needed/assigned during and after the pool season.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in a supervisory role, hospitality industry preferred.
  • Must have at least one (1) year of previous Food & Beverage experience
  • Must have technical skills including knowledge of Internet, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to train, motivate, reward, and discipline Team Members.
  • Must have an aptitude for Guest Service, and the ability to work with constant schedule changes.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative, and independent judgment.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and direct all aspects of the operation.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively in a team environment.
  • Must have flexibility to work varying schedules based upon business demands and scheduled events.
  • Must be able to obtain California Food Handler Certification, and Responsible Beverage Service State Certification. Must keep all current required work cards on your person during your shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
  • Ability to climb, bend, reach, push, pull, stoop, grasp, walk, sit and stand for the duration of shift.
  • Require manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.
  • Normal hearing range and the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds in a high volume environment
  • Must be comfortable working outdoors and exposed to various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.
  • Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Train all Pool Team Members.
  • Run all scheduled shifts under the direction of department leadership.
  • Coordinate all Cabana & Daybed requests.
  • Responsible for all shipments to be picked up and organized.
  • Enforce all safety protocols and pool rules to ensure the safety of all team members and guests.
  • Ensure the pool is clean, well-maintained, and functioning properly, including monitoring water quality and pool equipment.
  • Supervise cleaning of pool decks, restrooms, and surrounding areas.
  • Greet pool guests and address inquiries, providing information about pool schedules, rules, and events.
  • Handle guests' complaints or issues in a professional and efficient manner, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
  • Organize and oversee pool events.
  • Work with management to plan and execute special events or promotions at the pool.
  • Conduct an inventory check as needed for poolside equipment, bar supplies, and any other necessary items.
  • Ensure the bar operates smoothly, with attention to guest service and quality of beverage offerings. Supervise bar inventory, ensuring proper stock levels and timely ordering of supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with local health regulations and facility policies.
  • Be prepared to act swiftly in the event of an emergency.
  • This position will perform a supervisory role for the spa during the pool off season.
