In this role, you aren't just a guard; you are a key guardian of our guest experience. You will ensure the safety and peace of mind of our guests, staff, and property while maintaining the high standards of service our coastal community is known for.

Requirements

• An active State of Florida Security Officer Class D License (Required).
• A valid FL Driver’s License and reliable transportation to Cocoa Beach.
• You own a smartphone and have the basic computer skills necessary to manage modern surveillance systems and digital reporting.
• Commitment to overnight shifts, including the flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• A polished appearance and the ability to communicate clearly and calmly under pressure.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check (no felony convictions).

Nice To Haves

• Previous security experience in hospitality, resort, or high-traffic tourism environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular foot and/or vehicle patrols of the premises, monitoring surveillance systems, and inspecting access points to identify risks preemptively.
• Manage entries and exits, ensuring only authorized personnel and guests are on-site during overnight hours.
• Respond swiftly to alarms and calls for assistance, coordinating with management or local authorities (CCBPD) when emergencies arise.
• Maintain a digital log of overnight activities and complete detailed, professional incident reports via smartphone/tablet.
• Act as a helpful point of contact for guests during late-night hours, providing directions and assistance with a professional, hospitality-first demeanor.
• Ensure the property remains in full compliance with Florida legal standards and internal safety policies to protect the resort’s reputation.
